The modern world of architectural structures is an accomplishment, the hard work of general contractors (GC). They are given the very difficult task of translating design plans into reality. They always seem to do a good job. Amazingly today, there is no way for the GC to implement a sign schedule after plans have been submitted to build. GC’s are stuck between a rock and a hard place. Almost always the GC announces, “We forgot the signs!” Because architects do not have a guideline to create signage from, the GC usually gets stuck at the end of a project to scramble for signs.
