Having been the lead designer for three contractor sign companies, Mike has gained a tremendous amount of experience as the go-to person on sign design.  He has become a sign design expert. Mike has also learned the business end of the industry.

With Chatterbox Designs Inc. (CDI), Mike he has worked with more than 20 contractor sign companies in four Western states, including Hawaii. His experience and knowledge covers the entire Western region of the United States: Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona.

Through CDI, Mike has written, what may be, the first book on How to Design Illuminated and Non-Illuminated Signs called "Inside Sign Design." Besides having owned several businesses, Mike is clearly a motivator and a teacher-trainer for sign design and graphic design. He communicates well and understands how to achieve the bottomline in streamlining a design department to enhance business. As a designer, he understands the primary issues related to design and communicating ideas.  He knows how to communicate that goal effectively to those he teaches.

Mike is determined to work independently, to achieve more than any other sign designer before him.
